It was established that the timely diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia with comorbidity, competent antibiotic therapy allow to achieve complete clinical and radiological cure of community-acquired pneumonia in 94% of cases, with an average duration of therapy of 10-14 days. In elderly patients, the inflammatory process in the lungs can remain unrecognized.
